I frequently eat at The Hideaway, which gave birth to Hernando's, for both lunch and dinner. Everything The Hideaway does blows my expectations into orbit, from the ambience, to the food, to the stellar service. Hernando's shows that, as they say back home, "The acorn don't fall far from the tree." Having a quick to-go Hernando's option when we don't have time for a sit down lunch at The Hideaway is the perfect solution for those of us who are having a busy day and a craving for a moment of indulgence. The menu has 22 lunch items (tacos, bowls, burritos, and antojitos) as well as sides. You can even get a Hernando's Margarita!

I've lived in Beverly Hills for 56 years. By far, this is the most delicious amazing food at a budget friendly price that I have seen in our city. On Thursday, we ordered the Vegan Roasted Mushroom box and 2 Chicken Taco boxes. Each box was only $14. At other upscale Mexican establishments, that box is $30! I was blown away when this beautiful, oversized bag arrived by Uber Eats. The pink taco boxes looked like if the Beverly Hills Hotel packaging and Bottega Louie's packaging had a baby...the packaging was extremely impressive. The food was outstanding. The chicken breast was perfectly cooked; moist and flavorful. Everything that accompanied the taco box, you could tell, was high quality ingredients and delicious. I don't eat mushrooms but my former wife (an admitted picky eater) said it was outstanding and she's ordering again tonight. The food was so incredible I ordered a Chicken Burrito yesterday for lunch. The combination of ingredients with the flavorful chicken was so tasty...hands down this is my favorite burrito in LA. And only $15.

Mexican Bento Box.... I loved it. Randomly stumbled upon this place when deciding what to have delivered for dinner last night. The photos sold me. The food was delicious, the prices reasonable and the packaging was perfect. I usually would not compliment packaging but the idea of everything being compartmentalized without giving me 4 different containers and wasting tons of plastic sealed the deal. Clearly to-go is not an afterthought for this restaurant, as it is with some restaurants on DoorDash and UberEats. Overall a nice surprise and they are added to my list of favorites.
